It is built on misleading, coercing, manipulating, lying and stealing children from vulnerable poor parents so the agencies can make money. If you want to learn about adoption just follow the money. It's very sad, but true. Soon nobody will want to admit they adopted internationally because you can never assume you adopted a 'real' orphan. Paperwork is very easily falsified and made up in order to get that check of $30,000 to $60,000 deposited into the bank account. And the sad thing is the parents can't fight back for their children because they are too poor. It's the rich taking from the poor. :(
