Using investors hard earned money for personal use and later admitting being a bankrupt is a technique to embezzle investors money. Investors invest their money to get a place that is there own and where they can live a life with no tension and worries. But when these developers do fraud with banks they put their development projects in danger and ultimately the investor has to suffer. Almost same thing happened to me when I invested in Fortress Real Development (http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/skyscraper-developers-ordered-to-pay-3m-in-2011-1.1319587), their executives provided me the wrong leads and ultimately I was the one suffering until they were penalized with a penalty of $3m to be paid.
