I agree that Christians should help the helpless, the poor, the sick, etc...However, I don't see why it's the government's job to reign over the people and tell them what's fair and not fair. It's funny how convenient the government/non-Christians do not consider the USA a Christian nation, however, when an argument such as this comes up they want to give you "What would Jesus do arguement" and throw Christianity in your face. The government wants to run our lives and treats the American people as robots.

Helping people is our individual responsibility and to me, our Christian responsibility.
