In '97 -'98, I ran a restaurant on the same block as Fred's music store upstairs. I was a Beatles freak. I was always looking for Beatles bootlegs. He loved Yoko and would show me her Xmas cards to him. He also had his radio tuned to Radio Cuba. I would laugh. he hated cd's and thought that vinyl was the best. He told me that he had a recording of Paul and Linda singing Gordon Lightfoot's "Sundown" on tape. He was in Tennessee when they recorded back in '74. I believe him to this day. He was definitely eccentric. I had no idea that he was a pedophile. I heard that later. He knew his stuff, he was just very different.
