More liberal bs, don't believe everything you read. Slow moving creatures, lol, have you ever tried to catch a turtle on land much less in the water. There are already regulations on time nets are in the water, size of netting used, and that you cannot block a waterway. If you don't know what you are doing, you won't have much luck catching turtles. They say that alligator snappers are still endangered. They lie, there is a lot of them out there. If commercial trapping is banned, it wouldn't take long before the turtle population would start to diminish species of fish. Then what? You people scratch your heads and wander why it's happening? Im a conservationist myself, I hunt and fish for food on my table. You ban an industry you hurt thousands of people for no reason that depend on it. Not to mention lost revenue for the state in permits and taxes. Not to mention the jobs lost at the supply companies.
