I use Kratom to manage chronic pain and it works! I had also given some to friends that use heroin and were sick because they couldn't get any at the time and they all told me that it was a miracle. The horrible withdrawal symptoms just faded away within 20 minutes of taking the Kratom.
I believe that the reason the US government is doing this is for the same reason Thailand criminalized it. Because Kratom was ruining the heroin trade by getting addicts clean and causing sales to plummet. Well if it works better than soboxine and methadone and it doesn't get the addicted people high and they can easily stop the Kratom too. What do you think big pharmaceutical is going to do? Falsely list it as a dangerous substance, put out propaganda to make it look like a new drug to abuse and make it illegal in order to preserve the business heroin and opiates generate for the sales of methadone and soboxine.
