Re: “Cops don't like being on camera

And before any of you think I'm a "cop hater", I'll tell you this about me. I witnessed a young man running from an out of breath cop. Looking back, I should have just watched and kept myself out of harms way, because I didn't know the situation, but my initial instinct was to help the cop. He fell down out of breath, and I took up the chase and caught the young man 2 blocks away. He was trying to climb a fence when I caught him and I held him there as I yelled for the cops to find me, because we had gone through several backyards.

I tell you this because I have no hatred for cops at all, but I can easily tell this cop was clearly angry that someone was being disrespectful to him and he was gonna show this guy who the boss was. If you can't see that, then in my opinion, you are not being honest with yourself and are blindly taking his side. Again, I understand Erwin wasn't complying with a request to put his hands on the wall, but he didn't need to have his face beaten 7 times.

And as a sidenote, if this cop was protecting people, whom did Erwin harm? Who has filed battery charges against Ewin? The cop just got carried away on a power trip in my opinion. Period. It does happen.

Time to Run:

If you watch the first 10 seconds closely, you clearly see the cop on his mic and then he throws it down. That's what happened to his mic. He was clearly ready to get physical. Also notice that no one is touching him while he is calling for backup. He intiates the contact.

I'm by no means saying Erwin was complying with the cop's commands, but anyone who watches this pounding the cop delivers because a man wouldn't put his hands on the wall, and also believes that Erwin had struggled with or assaulted the cop earlier should rethink their position. The cop was obviously ready to get physical, and I think if Erwin had been aggresive physically earlier, he would have had the absolute Hell beaten out of him before this video was shot.

If the logic is "the cop had taken physical abuse earlier, but decided to pound his face when the man was not being physical" then it seems unfounded. If Erwin had actually put his hands on this cop, I think Erwin would still be in the hospital at best.

Re: “Attorney alleges Little Rock police brutality

"Real Deal"
He was not intoxicated or he would have been charged with public intox. Your whole post is rife with ignorance. You sound like you don't like to get confused by the facts. This "officer" made an aggregious error, and should face the music.

And what makes you think he is drunk or rich? You are spouting off about things you know nothing about. Nice life.

Re: “Attorney alleges Little Rock police brutality

Hey Dutch and any other idiot that wonders what happened to the vigilante's mic. He is talking on it in the first 10 seconds of the video while Erwin is standing in front of him posing no physical threat. He then throws it down and goes into MMA mode.

Pull your head out of you as&*s. Hopefully it's you next time getting your face pounded for asking why you are getting arrested. I'm not saying either one was in the right, but pounding a citizen who poses no physical threat to anyone around is not the answer to solving this situation. If he was calling for backup and Erwin was just standing there, why not just stand there also until your backup arrived since Erwin was obviously not getting physical with anyone. What would that have hurt?
