Re: “Cursing each other

As a former military person who has executed law enforcement activities I look at this and other situations like Ferguson and wonder why hasn't anyone brought up levels and use of force. This is the training you receive. If you come at me with fists I have to meet you with equal force. If it's a deadly weapon then I may use a weapon. The other thing is how can he be so dismissive when he made so many mistakes from the time of engagement. If he were a soldier in a war zone where many are trying to kill you and they have military weapons or may blow themselves up I may have more understanding but, he was walking a beat in America. Yes definitely dangerous but, not as deadly. I understand White people are sometimes afraid of Black people but fear is not an excuse to devalue the life of another. I had a senior officer that told many people once "don't see your ability to carry a gun as carte blanche to use it. If you're not ready to knuckle up you're not ready for this job". I'm from Little Rock, Arkansas where I learned good morals and the value of life.
