Re: “State trooper shoots man after Crawford County traffic stop

As I read these postings I set back and ask myself how some people come up with them at all. Fact is no one knows EXACTLY what happened for mainly two reasons 1. One of the two people evolved is no longer here to tell his story. 2. The news will only put out what makes a good news story. Now I ask myself what should have happened. And, what would I have done as a law enforcement officer? Answer: I DO NOT KNOW I WAS NOT THERE. I may have done the same thing, or different. The law asks one main question of the trooper’s actions. Would a reasonable person with equal training and experience have acted and responded the same way the trooper did. If the answer is yes (which I believe was the opinion of the prosecutor assigned to the case) then the trooper is clear. If the answer is no then the trooper may have to answer for the actions he took that day.
