The young ladies have the right to take a knee. I disagree with their protest because the anthem and respect to the nation should be apolitical. Just because one has a stage does not mean that is the proper means to protest.
Their protest can be viewed on the internet and becomes a part of their permanent record. If they really believe police target minorities and kill them in a disproportionate scale they need to protest black on black crime (like What goes on in Chicago). Also they might protest abortion (a lot of black potential is wasted here). I submit that more blacks kill blacks than police kill blacks.
Also, it is someone's right to no longer go to games and support a school who lets students do things they disagree with. Public money that supports the school can also be withdrawn if people disagree. That is their right just as much as the protest.
