Re: “'Godless conference coming to Little Rock'

Dan Troy,

You are an idiot.

I get so tired of trying to explain the painfully obvious to people that I think I will now resort to the same stupid tactic that many of the religious toss our way - baseless insults and name calling. Keep your opinions to yourself and for once in your life unplug from everyone else's life and try paying more attention to your own.

The day people like you stop trying to tell everyone what to do and how to live, maybe we can actually get back to being the top country int he world.

P.S. - On Topic: The State Constitution of Arkansas actually prohibits any person from holding elected office unless they admit to belief in 'a' god. Doesn't matter which one, but it is a requirement. (According to our constitution) Source: http://www.arkleg.state.ar.us/assembly/Sum… (Article 19, section 1)

"1. Atheists disqualified from holding office or testifying as witness. No person who denies the being of a God shall hold any office in the civil departments of this State, nor be competent to testify as a witness in any Court."
