Re: “God and gays at Harding University

I think people are focusing too much on these students being homosexual. I have no problem with whatever sexual orientation a person is, it's not my business who you want to be with, it won't affect my friendship or respect for you. Regardless, when you attend Harding you sign an oath agreeing to the university's morals. You break the clause, you face the consequences - simple as that. The site would have been blocked if it were heterosexuals that had the site. I understand that some students are "forced" to go to Harding, but if they feel that strongly about Harding's beliefs then they can find other means of paying for college. I went to Harding, and it was some of the best years of my life, I love Harding. I know plenty of people who's parents "forced" them to go or tried to "force" them to go. They all either found student loans or something to go to or transfer to another school. Why is this such a big deal? Harding has strict moral standards, do not attend the school if you do not agree with them. Just my two cents.
