Re: “Republicans don't want women to have The Pill

If i'm going to decide that my religious beliefs tell me that ice cream is an abortifacient does everyone have to treat it as such to be sensitive to my insanity? Who cares if they believe they are? This is something the medical community is unanimous about. You simply just are not pregnant until after implantation. Implantation is the difficult step of conception, and it doesn't happen without it. Let me stress that again. Conception, didn't happen. It was prevented, not aborted. Much like birth control when it prevents fertilization. Fertilization is easy and happens most cycles, but the implantation rate isn't so likely. Anyone who isn't using contraception is causing the deaths of far more fertilized eggs that didn't implant, then someone using birth control who prevents fertilization on a regular basis. No ones crying rivers about that tragedy because of course they don't really think it is one. And I really doubt they think it is in this case either if they're honest with themselves. Its just an excuse to interfere in people's personal lives.
