Re: “How much of the 1st Amendment is protected on Arkansas State University football helmets

I think it's crazy that anyone feels like a cross on a helmet means anyone is caving in to Christian beliefs. It's sad that this type of mentality exists but obviously, in the ridiculous world of worrying about everyone's feelings AKA "politically correct" this is what is important to all. It does not matter that the 2 young men died or that the team wanted to honor them this season, it's more important that the cross might offend someone in the stands. What planet do we exist on? When do the student athletes that are trying to do something positive instead of negative get some credit? These kids aren't out stealing, doing drugs or anything bad...just honoring fellow team mates. Go rent the movie "We are Marshall" and see what West Virginia did to honor the team that died in the plane crash, nobody complained....it was a classy thing to do.
