Re: “Sarah Huckabee Sanders: No thanks for your Thanksgiving shtick

baker: This "socialist elitist" is thankful this Thanksgiving that your false idol (and admitted abuser of multiple women)Trump has not yet managed to turn these United States into a dictatorship, which is apparently his goal.

Re: “State employee keeps job after texts with teen

Dullrazor: How many times does he get to act like that with your granddaughter before he's fired? You're saying it's OK if he does it four times to her?
And this has nothing to do with race or LGBTQ issues.

Re: “The latest 'Me Too' accuses Sen. Al Franken

This is not a political problem, it is a cultural problem. It reaches into every part of life in these United States and around the world, where people in power (mostly men, but not entirely) use their power to intimidate, harass and abuse those without power (often women but not entirely). I have seen the phrase "toxic masculinity" used to describe the problem. Masculinity does not have to be toxic. Most men exhibit respect and kindness every day--I see it here on this blog.
Maybe, just maybe we are turning a painful corner here and now. Maybe the cold light of discovery will cause some change in those who abuse their power over others.
