It would be nice to know exactly what conflicts of interest exist within the Arkansas DoH "Pharmacy Services Department" (are you kidding me?). Seriously - the Pharmacy Services Department is the agency/division that got the ball rolling on this. Why? Who are the department members? You tell me that and I can virtually promise you there are people with direct Rx company connections, to include stocks and research contracts.
This is what people mean when they talk about the 'revolving door' and regulatory capture.

What you have here is standard corporate practice in the United States "health care" industry. They literally have the power to write laws that prevent competition for their often toxic and life-altering products, and on top of that put people in jail or give them a criminal record for attempting to go around the backs of Big Pharma to treat personal issues or addiction.
