Re: “Body of missing UALR student found in pond UPDATE

@MarcKyle64------Yes I still call Him God. He was God when He sent His son to be crucified for my sins. So was He God when His only Son was MURDERED? Yes, He was God and still is and will be to come. Do we only call Him God when things are going well for us? Only God Knows the plan He had for Patricia's life. Would it had been better if she died another way? car accident, illness, drug over dose or some other way???? The truth is living in these earthly bodies no one wants to die, that's the human part of us. But everything that lives will die. It's amazing how beautiful the picture of heaven is painted for us and no one wants to die in order to get there. I guess your next question would be, Is there really a heaven? Let me put it like this, I would rather die believing there was a God and a heaven than to die not believing only to find out that they are both very real! I pray that her family will find comfort in knowing that God makes no mistakes, He has brought them to this point in their lives and I'm certain He will see them through. No I don't understand everything that God allows, but I personally know Him as a comforter. My sister died a year ago on Oct 11th and I know God is keeping me day by day. Would it have been better for it to have been someone else sister??? That would be selfish, although the human part of me would say yes because, it doesn't like the feeling of grief. However, I stand firmly on His word that He will never leave me nor forsake me. Is He able?? Yes. There is nothing too hard for God. He can do exceedingly, abundantly above all that I can ask or think. When you can come down from heaven, wrap yourself in flesh and enter into a virgin's womb and still be God in heaven............He's an AWESOME God!!!!!

@ Socialistarke I don't believe the comment about God being Good was meant in a negative way. Yes, God is Still Good and all the time He is Good. He was good over 2000 years ago when His son Jesus Christ was crucified, killed...ok murdered for doing NO wrong. He still showed enough love to redeem and justify a sinner like me so that I too may have eternal life when this mortal life is over. No we do not understand why certain things happen and perhaps we never will in this life, but I believe we will understand it better one day. For our thoughts are not His thoughts, nor our ways His ways. But He has the very hairs of our head numbered, He knows the plans for our life and we all have an appointment with death that we must all keep. We can't cancel it or reschedule it, we don't know when or where, but when He calls our name we must answer. Its good to be ready for tomorrow is not promised to any of us.
