Re: “Who killed the cat? 3rd District controversy continues

I am so thankful for the many kind words, emails and letters which have poured in from all across the country to Jake and his family. This just goes to show you that people do still care.

Re: “3rd District campaigner's cat killed

My heart goes out to Jake and his family. Not only is he my campaign manager but best friend as well. These actions are horrible, but we are going to stay above the fray and show people that not everyone involved in politics is bad.

With Humble Regards

Re: “U.S. Rep. Womack goes ballistic on constituent

People like you and deserve respect, especially from those elected to represent us and our families. It is our tax dollars that pay their salaries. I'll say it again we do have a choice in 2012 and I firmly believe that Mr. Womack is a spineless coward plain and simple. His actions show that he does not care and is in fact way out of touch with the needs of his district and the people whom he is supposed to represent. Ken Aden

Re: “U.S. Rep. Womack goes ballistic on constituent

For far too long we have given the corporate owned politicians in Arkansas a free pass. Now it doesn't matter if you have an (R) or a (D) before your name, if you're elected to represent Arkansas families then you need to do that job and NOT the bidding of the corporations. In 2012 all across this state we have a choice to make, 1. More of the same old song and dance, or 2. Put people into office that truly want to better their districts and communities. Your voice does matter and your vote does count. Bottom line is if you put people first the rest will take care of itself. Ken Aden

Re: “Carroll County food banks find Womack cool to cause

I know first-hand how hard these food pantries work to ensure that the less fortunate in our district have enough to eat. As someone who organized and ran a non-profit organization right here in Arkansas, that's something I'm intimately familiar with, and just like the assault on my military record, this was also handled in the most unprofessional of manners. Forty-four percent of the households in this district have a combined household income of less than $40,000 per year. Womack has made more than twice that every year while on the government payroll, first with the city of Rogers and now as a Congressman. His taxpayer-funded salary helps insulate him from the real concerns facing residents in the Third District. I have resigned myself to the fact that Mr. Womack just does NOT care!

Re: “Aden to Womack: Remember me now?

I accept the Congressman's apology and appreciate him walking those unfortunate comments back.
