Why not vote for a Libertarian instead?

Re: “Rutledge filing says tax money can't be reclaimed from Ecclesia College UPDATE

My opponent (though it is an apparent media secret that a Libertarian is in this race) does not want to take legal action against a religious institution because it may cost her votes. I'm not sure that anyone would really prefer to. But it is entirely relevant what the money was spent on and whether there is any tangible property that can be attached. Even a religious institution is not entitled to keep stolen property. As distasteful as it may seem to put things right in this way, the duty of the attorney general is to the state, not the church. And to defend convicted felons against subpoenas? Seriously?

Re: “David Couch has a new amendment ready for recreational marijuana as soon as approval polls show opportunity

The failure of the state government to implement the MMA in the nearly year and a half since it was approved by the People is disrespectful to the people of Arkansas and to the democratic process that defines us as a free country. Whether you are for or against legalization of marijuana, if the Process is not respected then freedom is not a right. It is merely a word.

I have no doubt that General Rutledge will do everything in her power to keep another marijuana measure off the ballot, and that is the difference between her and me. It is.not the proper role of the Attorney General to suppress the will of the people or discourage their active participation in the democratic process.

Re: “Mark Martin disappears Libertarian candidates again. They aren't happy.

You would think that Libertarians would not be held to the same filing period as everyone else if we weren't going to be listed along with other party candidates. I am sure that if our party had not made an issue of this "glitch" the SOS office would have waited until after the Democrat and Republican candidates had plenty of time to raise money and campaign before putting our candidates on the SOS website. This sort of thing would not happen under a Libertarian administration. And a Libertarian Attorney General would make sure that a Democrat or Republican administration wouldn't either.
