Re: “Review: Carrie Underwood at Verizon

Verizon is a terrible company that lied my mother into signing a 2 year contract for a service she didn't want and has never used. When I complained they said I should take my mom off my account. I guess that's so if they decide to defraud my mother in the future I won't have to be involved. Real class act. She was a supervisor at Verizon who only let me get two words out edgewise before she started talking over me to tell me tough luck in corporate jargon in a hostile southern ethnic accent. After I called back a regular rep credited me 15 bucks, said this kind of deception is common practice for Verizon sales, and told me I should either pass this curse onto someone else or resell the device at a loss in my own time. So they got me for $240 for two years for something I'll never use. I only found this out in the course of dealing with another fiasco because I was stupid enough to think Verizon could process a simple shipping order without one of their representatives sending out the item in a manner that was fraudulent. So my item lived in Verizon's fraud dept for days until I decided I should try to play supervisor for Verizon customer service. I still don't have my phone and they changed the terms of the deal after the fact once again. This time they bilked me out of $240 over the term of my cell contract. If I didn't live in a service hole because of Verizon's, and other major communications company's relationship with our local and federal governments, I wouldn't deal with this crap. I look forward to not having to do business with what are in my opinion absolute liars, thieves, and fools again. Beware this company. Avoid their events. The name of their brand should become some sort of insulting curse word.
