Re: “Attack on free speech clears House committee

All the talk of these conservative small government types.... pass bill after bill for corporations to do whatever they want and then bill after bill to control people. Guess they really need to read the constitution:

[1] The First Amendment states that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.Aug 24, 2016

Re: “"Amazon tax" passes out of Senate, on to House

This is not shocking is it really that the legislature would find a way to get taxes after they ceremoniously applaud themselves for lowering taxes. If the statement is correct that the state will get revenue in the order of tens of millions of dollars, it is actually saying that Arkansans will pay tens of millions of dollars. It is my belief that all those groups with tax exemptions will not pay, so maybe it should be every person and entity purchasing those tangible items.

Re: “John Walker rejects city apology for arrest during filming of police

Excellent refusal of a disingenuous act by the city and the police department. Now to take the city and police department to court for harassment and abuse of police authority.

Re: “Little Rock police to drop charge against Walker, apologize

Gee, they did not figure on someone having intelligence enough to take them to court. Now how about harassment, lack of probable cause and the police actually breaking the law. . . hmmmm.... as the worm turns.... lol
