Re: “Food Feedback Friday: So, Co, and Sol

Poison Apple, Laurie David here with The Faded Rose. Please e-mail me at so I can get more info from you. This is certainly not what we like hearing and would love to be able to get to the bottom of the problems you experienced.

Re: “Arkansas Times announces new Food and Farm Magazine

Mystery shopper, we are in the restaurant business and we have put Arkansas wines on the wine list in the past and they don't sell. I wish they would but it's hard to justify having wines in house taking up valuable wine space to just collect dust. You have to be able to move your inventory.

Re: “Neighbor arrested in death of 6-year-old in Bentonville

What a tragic short life this poor child had. This has to be one of the saddest stories. I hope Mr. Holly has a long and miserable life in prison.

Re: “Morningside Bagels offers a bite of The Big Apple in Arkansas

The lox and bagel looks delish. May have to make a special trip for this! This is one of my favorite breakfasts.

Re: “Quaint, quiet, and quality at Igibon

I agree totally with you Michael. This has been our go to for sushi since the day they opened. It has always been great but just recently we went back and I have to say it was better than ever. They had some wonderful new additions that were all spot on. Like you said, don't go in thinking you'll just grab a quick bite and be out in a jiffy but it's worth the wait. And even if it's been a little while since you have been in they will make you feel as if they have been waiting for your return. And try the crab lovers roll. I believe it may have taken the place of the spider roll as my favorite.

Re: “The push for four-year college completion

When our son left for college in Chicago our CPA told us to be sure that he has some of his tuition tied up in student loans. He said that they have a tendency to graduate faster when they are running up debt. Even if we were planning on paying it off after he graduated, don't let him know about it. He was out in four years and yes he graduated about in debt. And no, we didn't pay it off.
