Re: “NFL fans boo players kneeling to pray before Anthem: It isn't about the flag

Fans are not anxious to hear athletes opinions on any political or social issues. They pay money to see football. The issues fans have are many:
1. The anthem should be respected
2. Athletes are there to display their football skills only. Fans don't want to go to a show, for example, and have the actors deliver a political speech there either.
3. The issue of so called social injustice is far from settled when many of the examples given of this in the press are misreported either through negligence or purposeful misrepresentation.
4. Many feel the social injustice theme is really anti cop. They want to voice their support for cops who are wrongly accused. Do we really feel the notion that cops are targeting blacks is prevalent enough to be a serious problem?
