Re: “UPDATE II: Echols blasts Baldwin in new book

I support all three of the guys even with the opposition that is surrounding them at the moment. I don't believe that Damien is after "the spotlight and fame". My God, look at what they got dealt my friends. Could any of us come out of that extreme of conditions unscathed and umimpressed? I know that I could not have. Whatever happened before, one has to remember the compassion that Jason showed and the intellect that Damien had in this situation. Very great chance that Damien wouldn't have made it to a new trial. They would have executed him as fast as they could have. The main reasons for "making" them accept the plea is nothing short of political career opportunities and MONEY! They did not want to pay these men for sitting in prison, wrongfully, from the state of Arkansas. I promise you, each of the prosecutors and especially ,'the JUDGE', knew they were innocent 1000% ,unequivocally,NOT GUILTY! Did they care about them? NO! Would they care about the next time? NO! Unless laws are changed and somehow we put some honesty and empathy and plain common sense with moral values attached in our system, then we will see this so much more often. It happens every day. I applaud each of them for their neverending faith in something or someone bigger than we are. I do not know and pray that I never do, have any idea how I would handle this. It's so easy, as demonstrated in this case, for the prosecution and law enforcement to make evidence appear to match. I think we have made positive steps in science that wasn't there in the beginning for these guys. My compassion is fully intact for all three. As in any relationship, they will figure it out somehow. Either with the happy ending everyone wants or for the new beginning I and countless others wants. I truly believe that all things work out for the best evern if it's not what we expect. My continuous prayers are there for the families of the lost innocent little boys that were cut down so early in a horrendous, vile act. I'm also going to continue my prayers and support for each of the 3 no matter what, they deserve no less.
