Re: “Trump protests pop up in Arkansas

Maybe it's the sleep-dep, but I took that headline to somehow mean that Trump was opposed to campers.

Hamilton is on the $10 bill.

And weren't Susan B Anthony and Sacajawea real women on US coins?

Re: “Clean Line project approved; Arkansas congressmen unhappy

The simplest answer: the wind tends to be strongest in areas like the Plains (sparsely populated)--this project will move the wind energy to the population centers of the southeast. In other words: it'll move the energy from where the people aren't to where the people are.

Re: “UPDATE: Planned Parenthood suing Arkansas to preserve Medicaid assistance

That "token black lady" is State Senator Joyce Elliott, who spoke at the press conference and eloquently defended Planned Parenthood.

Re: “Say: Where's the Shale Posse on SWEPCO hearing?

Just to be clear: Sierra Club intervened in this docket so that cleaner, less costly alternatives would be fully considered and discussed. Those options include a range of things: gas, wind, energy efficiency, and combinations thereof. It's not correct to say that the Sierra Club is pushing gas. However, Sierra Club is interested in finding a solution that is cleaner and better for ratepayers than paying hundreds of millions to prop up an aging coal plant--and then coming back to do it again in a few years when pending regulations kick in.
