Re: “Silence on change at St. Mark UPDATE

Where is this, " sitting around waiting on a slip up business coming from?" I hate for anyone to fail, but if you fail, and are in a leadership role, you should be dealt with. Obama for instance, he being in the role that he is in can't go certain places and can't do certain things. If you want to assume the role of EVERYBODY ELSE, keep your black behind out of the pulpit. You already know when you in a role of that level, people are going to have something to say as they very well should. These leader are held to higher standard and we have to make sure they operate on that level. The flesh is weak, but how often are we going to allow this???? Bishop Arnold has done this more than once so he can just do this whenever he pleases, how often he pleases and to whomever he pleases? Is that what we are saying? If it is, there is no need for the church.

Re: “Silence on change at St. Mark UPDATE

and.... what about the wife of the pastor who has to deal with this mess. What about the children of the pastor who has to deal with shame, humiliation and embarassment. What about the spouse/s of these people with whom are being affected as well. We are so one sided with this until I am sickened. It's all about pastor/bishop/elder etc. but there are others who are need of our prayers as well. what a joke! NO, I am not a atheist; I love God and just want him to be glorified always. We need to start worshiping him in SPIRIT & TRUTH. Yes, the flesh is weak but as a man of the cloth, he more than anyone else should know how to keep that in check.

Re: “Silence on change at St. Mark UPDATE

Stop spreading gossip, stop being messy, quit judging, all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOd, touch my anointed and do my prophet no harm SO SICK of hearing all these sentiments.... Everyone all of a sudden wants people to shut up and just pray, we a lot of people or not longer going to just shup up, close a blind eye and allow men of the cloth to keep on in their mess while standing up behind that pulpit spewing out to people what they should and shouldn't be doing when they themselves are doing it. If you want to get bible with it, let's do that. The bible says I would that you were either HOT or COLD, if you are lukewarm HE will spew you out of his mouth!!!! God hates a hypocrit. If you are saying one thing and doing another, that is hypocrisy flat out. Clearly, Bishop Arnold has issues that needs to be addressed and it's quite possible that being in a leadership role is causing him not to seek the deliverance that is needed. Sounds like a clear case of folks putting GOD over MAN and glorifying the man instead of GOD. God will get the glory by allowing things like this to happen. Bishop Eddie Long in the news a few weeks ago... same senerio... saints glorifying the bishop and t-totally forgot about GOD! Maybe this is God's doing!!! It's time for the black church to make a change! Time to quit exploiting and capitilizing off GOD! Like my granny used to say, don't ever call right wrong and wrong RIGHT!!!!! Stay blind and ignorant all you want. The truth is, the Bishop is a philanderer and needs to be delivered. PERIOD!!!!!! I will pray that people of God wake up and quit being so damn hoodwinked.
