Re: “Little Rock officer injured in hit-and-run UPDATE

He was a classmate of mine in graduate school. Truly one of the good guys. I was so saddened to learn about his condition this afternoon.

Re: “Rapert files a Ten Commandments monument bill

That worked so well here in Oklahoma, where a statute of Baphomet was going to be erected by a Satanic group. I wasn't a fan of either mind, you, but equal is equal- or should be.

Re: “What happens when Jason Rapert stops being polite...

Any question of his beliefs or his record is spun as a "malicious attack."

Re: “Will Tom Cotton help Oklahoma or hold it hostage to ideology?

I don't see Coburn on this list. Am I missing something?

Re: “Silence on change at St. Mark UPDATE

He can be helped. No one is saying he shouldn't be. BUT, he shouldn't be leading a flock of people if he preaches one thing and does another. Everyone is a sinner, yes, but when your sins become all consuming then it's time to step aside. I have heard rumors of his transgressions for years and I am glad that he's being held accountable. Helping him doesn't mean he should not be held accountable either. The Bible teaches accountablity as well as forgivness. They aren't mutually exclusive. They don't need to reject him, just make him step aside to get his life back and focus on his issues with help. From people I know that went there, he had become the center of the church and worship and not Christ. Clergy and Politicians are not all that different with their ego's and influence.
