Re: “Early voting begins in Arkansas

Been in line almost an hour at location on John barrow. Was told several locations having issues with checking voter registration. Internet connectivity maybe?

Re: “Heights zoning request on Tuesday City Board agenda

Traffic congestion due to new businesses has already happened (Starbucks at Kavanugh & Pierce, for example). The Pizzaria, soon to open at Cantrell and Kavanugh, will most likely create a traffic headache too.

As a longtime Heights resident, it is my humble opinion action should have been taken decades ago, when modest "Heights bungalows" were torn down and large homes built. Many of these homes are not in keeping with the original architecture and spirit of neighborhood and many consume all the property, leaving no yard for kids to play. Very sad.

I don't know the answer, but battles such as a restaurant/retail/commercial business at Cantrell & University are lost. The Heights has been losing its history for decades. I do not think it will stop. It does not seem enough residents are interested in saving it. Also very sad.......

Re: “Arkansas State Capitol: 'Religious center' says Facebook page

I don't think Festivus is about gay pride. But maybe I'm reading the article wrong. I thought "Festivus is for the rest of us".

Re: “Little Rock Film Festival says goodbye

So sorry to see the festival end. I always saw great movies I probably would not have seen otherwise.
