Re: “Trump punishes his base (Arkansas, in other words) with health coverage decision

Would the bi-partisan governors please point to the article in the U.S. Constitution where "stability of insurance markets" is a responsibility of the federal government? Please don't say "interstate commerce clause" as insurance has until recently been considered a STATE regulated marketplace. GOP trying to change that, but it has been. Also, where the authorization to do this permits the executive to spend money which Congress has not appropriated for the task. If Trump spent billions on something they were against without an appropriation from Congress these governors would be among the first to say he was acting like a dictator. PS- I did not vote for him so don't even try that way of avoiding....

Re: “Planned Parenthood appeals for stay in court case

If one quarter of women in Fayetteville would decide not to have an abortion if they had to drive 100 miles to get it then its pretty obvious that they don't see it as something medically necessary. People up here routinely have to drive to Little Rock for all sorts of medical care. If they say "If I have to drive 100 miles then never mind" it makes it sound like something frivolous.

Re: “Study: Voter ID law likely helped Trump

Oh for crying out loud. Why didn't they have "the proper identification"? Could it be because they are not citizens of this country and are not entitled to vote? Could they have been "turned away" from the polling places because they are not legally registered to vote? Could they have been felons still on probation? We have a lot of real problems in this nation, but voter ID is not one of them.

Those scriptures don't mean what he thinks they mean…

Re: “Senate approves school voucher bill

Wal-Mart can send their taxes to a non-profit funded by the Walton Foundation who can then steer students to schools with financial ties to some of Wal-Mart's biggest shareholders.....connect the dots.....…

Re: “Senate approves amendment to limit damage lawsuits, strip court power

Left and right agree on this one. SJR8 is an absurdly awful piece of legislation for all the reasons discussed on this right wing radio talk show.....…

Re: “Rep. Karilyn Brown files bill to require vaccinating schoolchildren

But if some of you want it from a "legacy" media source, here is the report from ABC about Hannah Poling. Her father was a nerologist and mother a lawyer, so they were smart enough to document so well that not even the vaccine courts (did you know that vaccine companies have their own special courts?) were forced to find a connection. THey said it was because there was some underlying disorder, but lots of kids have the same type of "disorders" which don't mess them up unless combined with the vaccines.

PS- I DON'T think it is the thimerisol. Some live virus vaccines are cultured in aborted fetal tissue. It is well known that viruses can pick up genes from tissues they infect. I wonder if this live viruses can trigger an immune response because of the intro of these foreign proteins.
