I was in Nebraska in April of this year. They were tearing up the left lane of west bound I-80 and laying down new pavement as they went. The right lane of traffic was open and moving right along. The east bound lanes weren't effected at all.

Now can you imagine that same project on I-40 through eastern Arkansas? Yes, you can, because you remember exactly how it was/is!

Nebraska has nice clean rest stops along I-80 at regular intervals. Earlier this year I stopped at the filthy little dump they call a rest area between I-30 and Hot Springs and thought to myself, this is Arkansas for you - the fruit of years of Democrat cronyism.
