Re: “South Carolina GOP ballot — a sex litmus test

Good comments everyone. I commend you for your effort and typical use of the Liberal dictionary. Looks like I made some people on here very upset. (insert nervous liberal laughter here)

Just like I predicted. (crickets are now chirping)

PS - Hackett you are beautiful. I bet you have a pic of Vlademere Lenin and Max Brantley in your wallet huh? Right??

Re: “South Carolina GOP ballot — a sex litmus test

Ya know I am not really freaked out by this. It is a bit extreme but anything that can assist with pissing off liberals and strengthen the American family I would have to vote for....sorry.

I love and I mean love to make liberals mad....oh man they get so red in the face and start downing G. Bush quicker than a jack rabbit on a date. Then they start saying all the familiar words....right wing nut job, Nixon was horrible, Reagan didn't win the cold war, and how much they love gay wads and Obama.

Re: “Review: Jimmy Buffett at Verizon Arena

I just don't get JB in any way. It all sounds the same - like cheap lounge music on a white trash cruise ship. Sorry.....I really would like to like this guy..

Re: “Thursday To-Do: Jimmy Buffett

Re: “Malzahn's moment

I for one am so over the Arkansas Razorbacks....(dumb name too). I am a lifelong and native Arkansas resident who supported the Hogs until about 5 or so years ago. when the Houston Nutt drama was going on.

I am still surprised at how much influence the might Hogs have over our state. I say let them have all their games at the U of A as long as they have to begin playing ASU and UALR is set up with a football team. Under those conditions...I say they can keep their might Hogs in NW Arkansas.

Oh yeah...and the Hogs Football team will never and I mean never win a national championship.

Re: “Tracy Steele announces for NLR mayor

Well it just seems that everything and I mean everything Tracy has been a part of has not been transparent and he always has a large pay day in the end game.

Tap....seriously.....you are referring to Sam Bagget who was an alderman. He is the one who chose to become a criminal and Hays had no part in it. Sam was elected and Sam got out...so it is a shame that he chose that path but it never reached the mayors office.

And....what has Tracy done for the city while he was in the Arkansas Legislature?...in other words Tap what is "one" thing you can hang your hat on when you think and reflect about the good Tracy has done for NLR while in the legislature?

What about his role in the Maumelle watershed. - I don't know if the operative word is "irony," but there's an interesting connection in the decision. Advantage is headed by Michael Steele. He's the brother of Sen. Tracy Steele, who sided with Sen. Bob Johnson and other forces of darkness in the 2005 legislative session to attempt to strip CAW of its ability to effectively manage the Lake Maumelle watershed. Perhaps his brother can persuade him to be a little friendlier to the utility's interest in the future. May 08

Take a past look in the Arkansas Times and Dem Gazette and see how many articles spotlight Tracy Steels ethical problems.

Hays is by no means an angel and many think he is not a good person. But remember he is a strong mayor....that is a political science term you may want to look up. A strong mayor gets things done such as: Alltel/Verizon arena, Dickey Stephens Park, Trolley, Argenta redevelopment, current redevelopment starting in Baring Cross...(had to put than in there for Steve N), and bringing in new businesses such as Caterpillar. Tap....none of those would have happend if Hays had not been in office. He is the lightning rod that business leaders across the country know about and feel comfortable working with.

Any new mayor will not have the same swagger but Smith may after a little while regain some of Hays's good reputation for getting things done. Remember that the city council plays a role in this and they have been a rubber stamp for him for just about all of his tenure thus far. Why you ask??/becuase he gets things done....some like him and some do not....he isn't for everyone but as a NLR citizen....my money is on him and now possibly Joe Smith do continue this good movement......Do you remember Terry Hartwick? Tracy in my mind is about on par with him....completely out for himself
