Re: “Child left for hours in van at Rep. Justin Harris' state-funded pre-school

Just because someone sits in a garage and calls himself a car, does that mean he IS a car? And just because Mr Harris calls himself and his wife Christian, does that mean they ARE behaving as Christians? By their fruits you shall know them. Let's see, blaming the damaged children, arrogance, refusal to hear experts and those with experience caring for damaged children, holding a state agency hostage till it does his bidding, later blaming the state agency and its head for a decision he made to 'rehome' his children, throwing his power around, greed in accepting checks for his children's welfare after they left, if in fact that also happened. Uh, not any description I have ever heard of One who was equal with God but divested himself of that equality in order to save those who would also divest themselves of their arrogance and accept His sacrifice of His Life and His extreme pain. His followers, though human, give up the opportunity to live however they want so they can honor His amazing sacrifice. There are all sorts of levels of evil, sin, greed, cowardice...but equating Jesus with Mr. Harris' actions does not ring true. I read this about Jesus: (The Attitude of Christ) "5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to cling to, 7but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness.…" Philippians 2:5-6
