Re: “More tangles in the church-state scandal at Ecclesia College

Slight tangent: It's kind of ironic/dumbfounding that boutique K-12 schools like New School, Haas Hall, Thaden School, and NWA Classical Academy seem more reputable, forward-thinking and liberal-artsy than any of the corporate/yes-men prosperity theology factories (John Brown, Harding-NWA, Ecclesia) and Vendorville feeder colleges (UT-Fayetteville and NWACC) in Northwest Arkansas. Under his eye.

Re: “Gambling mission creep continues

What does "adjoins two state lines" mean exactly? AR-OK would be one state line and AR-MO would be the other? That would leave only Benton County eligible.

Re: “Brantley: Change is gonna come

Colorado College, a prestigious liberal arts institution in the polarized Springs, is one of the few (only?) higher ed locales that teaches on the block system where one full course is taught in 3.5 weeks... not sure how well that can be emulated elsewhere, but it seems to work very well for them.
