Re: “Only the guilty want closure in West Memphis Three case

That plea was his last chance to get of death row. So you're saying you'd rather die and be exonerated than take a guilty plea and save your own life? Yeah right.

What about the hair... or the black guy covered in blood... or the drive through... or the countless times that mustached mulletted redneck said some really shady things... as stated before, the list of unanswered questions is massive. And those that believe they're guilty don't want to hear them. But you've ignored my questions twice, so its safe to assume you'll ignore them again. After all, you're the expert here, right? So you know the answers aren't going to go along with your "they're guilty" posts.

And them being teenagers has everything to do with everything. Read my comment SLOWLY and use your brain, which seems to be smaller than Jesse's. And read Jesse's confessions word for word and compare his words to the physical evidence. I don't see a logical, honest confession there. I see a nervous kid (with the mentality of someone half his age) saying what he needs to to satisfy his interrogators.

And you bring up another topic... the botched crime scene. More people should be seriously pissed off at that. And those cops need to reconsider their career choice. Forgive me, but I'm not 100% sure if any of them got fired or even remotely punished for it.

All this being said, I did look at the actual evidence to form my opinion on this case.

Brian, you still have yet to comment on what I said about them being teenagers. And you also failed to answer the questions I predicted you'd ignore. Sure I misunderstood your statement regarding his living arrangements, but you flat out ignored my follow up comments.

Bottom line is this: They were convicted with zero credible evidence by a corrupt penal system in a very Christian town that believes music is to blame for everything. Guilty or not, that's no way to convict someone.

Re: “Only the guilty want closure in West Memphis Three case

So, answer me this: Who's hair was found tied in the shoe laces that were used to hog-tie the boys? Why did the lazy cop go to the drive through at the restaurant the night of the murders? Who was the black man covered in blood? And why didn't the police focus on that? Seems awfully suspicious to me, and I'm no cop. The list of unanswered questions goes on for ages. And the problem here is that the people that believe that the WM3 are guilty ignore all those questions regularly.

Did anyone ever think that maybe, juuuuust maybe, the 3 were young, dumb, and arrogant teenagers? Shit, Jesse has the IQ of a peanut and you take his "confessions" seriously? Damien was a very confused, very immature kid. I'll bet I can walk into any high school in the country and find a kid willing to lie about where he lives.

And on top of all that, even if they are guilty, do you really think that killing Damien will solve anything? Aren't 3 dead kids enough?

Re: “Only the guilty want closure in West Memphis Three case

Ignoring all the Hollywood hype about the case and looking at the evidence alone (or lack thereof) shows that Damien, Jesse, and Jason didn't kill anyone. Its a shame that it takes a feature film to remind people of how terrible the chain of events went down.

Oh, and to the guy that said the movie didn't show any confessions: Clearly, you haven't even seen the film.... Its a major plot point that gets shown in several scenes. Its on Netflix, which I'm sure you have access to, since you seem to know so much about the film.

And sure, Damien lied about his residence on TV. Wouldn't you lie if you knew there were groups out there ready to kill you?
