Re: “Hot Springs lawyer Andi Davis plea bargains manslaughter case

Proof our justice system does work . The individual "Max" was killed in a drug deal gone wrong. Max was a drug dealer. He poisoned the community with methamphetamine. He chose that lifestyle knowing the risk involved. He had no desire to better the community or himself and he got what was coming to him. The state shouldn't have to clean up the mess he created. While I am empathetic to the family for loosing a child I do not share their frustration with the criminal justice system. Likely if Max was prosecuted for selling drugs when he was alive his family would be the same ones crying for lenancy and blaming the system for his drug use and dealing. As for Andi she broke the law when she used to her phone to buy drugs and her sentence is in line with a first time offender who commits a non violent felony. Hopefully she will complete her term of probation and learn from this. From my understanding she had once been an asset to the community and had contributed to it. I hope she is able to continue serving her community again .
