Re: “Tax bill on Senate agenda today

Ahhhh yes, Asa's dream of becoming Kansas and zealously following former Governor Sam Brownback' s trickle down state government bonanza. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that steak is all gristle (Bonanza/steak, etc.) Kansas did not celebrate their staggering losses of tax revenue, going into debt in the higher hundreds of millions of dollars. The red tribe seems to revel in shrinking government down to nothing and leaving the voters to hold that empty bag.

Re: “School vouchers take center stage

They are subsidizing limited education. Depending on the school, substandard teaching and learning.

Re: “Legislators rally against school voucher bill UPDATE

Totally agree Sound. Even with the "cream of the crop" they are receiving a very substandard education. Of course most of them bring home "A's" so everyone's happy.

Re: “Legislators rally against school voucher bill UPDATE

Having good schools is "Not" rocket science. The Governor, Legislature, And corporate interests have weakened public schools. Coming very close, if not over the line regarding the Lakeview Decision. It is very well known what needs to be done in order to have good schools. This has been proven time and time again. They should quit trying to reinvent, in their case, that nonexistent wheel, for they are basing their efforts on a false premise.
