Re: “Who's a RINO?

Is it the "will of the people" to have the elections rigged and have candidates cheated? No. Well THAT is exactly what has happened to Ron Paul ever since Iowa when the RINOs decided they were going to CHEAT Ron Paul out of a victory and "conveniently" held a "secret ballot count" just so a RINO like Romney or Santorum would win.

Is it the "will of the people" to have their votes purposely miscounted/trashed just so the so-called "winner" can as happened in Maine, Nevada, etc. to Ron Paul and his supporters.

What is a RINO? How about a Communist masquerading as a Republican who defends the 10 planks of Karl Marx Communist Manifesto while claiming to "defend the Constitution" as any candidate in this race except Ron Paul has done. The ONLY candidate in this race that actually defends the Constitutionn and the principles of freedom in it is Ron Paul. The rest are Communists who think themselves "conservative." Don't believe it? Every RINO believes the Fed govt. should be involved with or control these items listed below:

1) Abolition of property in land and the application of all rents of land to public purposes. (zoning and property taxes, etc.)
2) A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3) Abolition of all rights of inheritance. (state and federal estate taxes, etc.)
4) CONFISCATION OF THE PROPERTY OF ALL EMIGRANTS AND REBELS. (The seizures through traffic law violations, drugs, etc.)
5) Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. (Federal Reserve and banking system!)
6) Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State. (FCC, Dept. of Trans. FAA, Interstate Commerce Commission)
7) Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan. (Dept. of Ag, TVA, Agriculture Adjustment Act, etc.)
8) Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies especially for agriculture. (Labor Unions, Dept. of Labor, Civil Works Admin. National Labor Relations Act, etc.)
9) Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country(Food processing companies, with the co-operation of the Farmers Home Administration foreclosures, are buying up farms and creating "conglomerates.")
10) Free education for all children in public schools. (obvious and less "education" than "indoctrination", "Dumbing Down America," students taught DC is the "final authority" not the teaching, belief or desire of the parents.) "Communist Manifesto" Karl Marx

RINOs are communist, self righteous, sanctimonious crooks and pharisees who are exactly the type of people we need to get OUT

Re: “Lincoln's fair attack on 'Fair' Tax

Skee Hee, "eliminate all deductions..." Our current system started as a flat tax. Isn't it "wonderful" what it turned into?

"Hush now, child while the govt. decides how much they think you deserve to keep. I'm sure they smarter than all of us. We just wouldn't know how to survive or take care of ourselves without their infinite wisdom and tender, loving care now, would we? You just keep workin and sendin it in. How could we take care of our money if we didn't send it in? How would we count our money or what to do with it if we didn't have them take it from us and count it for us? They sure know how to count don't they? I gotta old claw hammer. Wonder if I could sell it the guvment for a couple grand?"

Re: “Lincoln's fair attack on 'Fair' Tax

Hey Dutchman3,

23% tax-inclusive = 30% tax exclusive. Why are you trying the "bait n switch" 30% tax-exclusive = higher tax routine? "simple math..." Yeah, the same amount is paid in tax either way you count it so why does it seem that you are trying to say different? Have I got you wrong?

Re: “Lincoln's fair attack on 'Fair' Tax

Slingerland,

Those mom and pop stores are already collecting a sales tax in 45 states. What's the biggie there? Also, you mentioned evasion... Question for ya, where are the massive sales tax evasions taking place now? Are there news reports or something or are you speculating, considering the aforementioned forty-five states. I don't think it would be a problem to point out the evasion/tax gap in our current system. You will probably say "oh but the rate is going to be so much higher..." Really? Compared to the taxes taken from our paychecks NOW that won't be taken under the Fair Tax. For the first time in over 90 years we... I repeat WE... ALL AMERICANS can be able to work, save and invest, not as slaves to the govt. and the income tax first, but as free men and women who will be able, for the first time in their lives, be able to work for themselves and their own benefit first rather than the govt. Let's not forget that under the income tax, the govt. is truly given absolute and total control over the earnings of every wage or salary earner, rich or poor, in the United States. Tell me my friend, do you really believe that ANY govt. should have the power to decide what they think you deserve to keep of your hard earned money? If you truly think they do, you better check out the historical tax rates which have been as high as 94%, yes, here in "Amerika." How would YOU like to pay those rates? I think it would be naive for you to think it couldn't possibly be you.Regards and best wishes.

Re: “Tim Griffin flipflops on Fair Tax UPDATE

"The sources critical of the "Fair" Tax are too numerous list here and come from every point on the political spectrum and include serious economic and financial analysts of every stripe. Bruce Bartlett, the conservative editorialist, gets to the essence of it. He calls it a "crackpot" idea. Good enough for me.

I agree on the critics. We've known about them for a while.

Memo to Bruce Bartlett: Just Do the Math http://www.fairtax.org/PDF/080204-TuerckRe…

Bartlett’s FairTax Fiction Fails to Smear http://www.fairtax.org/site/News2?news_iv_…

Bartlett reiterates the same lame arguments http://www.fairtax.org/site/News2?news_iv_…

And, for the %23 vs %30, The FairTax Rate: a 23% tomato or a 30% tomato?

Bartlett isn't even an economist. But, here the signatures of 80 people who are: Open Letter to the President, the Congress, and the American People signed by over 80 independent economic professionals. http://www.fairtax.org/PDF/AnOpenLettertot…
Cheers.
