    Arkansas women, used now to being slapped around by the Arkansas Legislature, which has embarrassed the state nationally with its anti-woman bills, are greeting with deep sighs state Rep. David Meeks' new bill, HB1898, the "Healthcare Freedom of Conscience Act," that would allow doctors and hospitals not to provide the following treatments if they ran counter to their "moral" principles.

Went to Layla's and had the gyro plate and hummus. Awesome as always. Layla's always deserves an Eat Arkansas shout out.

Oh there is always unhappiness on the Eat Arkansas blog. I have no idea why foodies are so opinionated. Yeah the last couple of articles have focused on lowbrow food but if you look at the articles over the course the year, you will find the entire spectrum of food in Arkansas. Considering that there is no full time writer on staff, I think Eat Arkansas does a fine job.
