Re: “Linda Collins-Smith drops bathroom bill for this session

Looks like Arkansas Times will have to withdraw the ad previously planned for publication on April 1, 2017:

Help Wanted:

Bathroom Birth Certificate Checkers

Part-time positions available across Arkansas. Pay is minimum wage with no benefits other than bathroom breaks (with valid birth certificate).

Help protect your fellow citizens while working part-time in the Natural State.

These jobs were created by your forward thinking legislature. The positions would have been full time but many of your faithful servants in the legislature have volunteered (subject of course to per diem reimbursement and any food or drinks supplied by generous entities that might decide to support our caring representatives) to work as bathroom birth certificate checkers in their spare time in order to protect their constituents.

Per diem reimbursement and food and drinks will not be available to regular citizens. The legislature has determined that could create a potential conflict of interest.

Checkers must have proof of completion of the intense training required to carry firearms as all bathroom birth certificate checkers must be armed at all times.

Re: “Committee approves bill targeting Sharia law

Questions for Rep Smith:

Any research into the origins of the law incorporated in the planned 10 Commandments monument?

How in the world can this bill be a priority for any elected representative?

Re: “Collins' campus carry bill passes out of House committee

I would be willing to vote for a constitutional amendment to limit legislative sessions to 2 days every 10 years.

Re: “More anti-immigrant legislation: bill would defund colleges with 'sanctuary' policies

Rep Smith follows the tradition of Jon Hubbard. As a resident of District 58 I have grown accustomed to taxation without representation.

His bill does inspire me to sign the ASU petition.

Re: “Bill filed to address non-existent problem of Sharia law creeping into U.S.

Once Rep Smith finishes with this critical legislation perhaps he can draft a bill to prevent the Hogs from wearing orange longhorns on their helmets.

Re: “Arkansas football makes top 20 in coaches' pay

More fun facts and figures.....

A blue ribbon panel of psychometricians and economists has projected that it would cost another $7 million for the Hogs to hire a defensive staff that would revamp the defense to force opponents to punt 2.5 times per contest.

Statisticians have determined that in 2015 Pulaski Academy punted more often than Hog's opponents.
