"Fake News" is similar to "Conspiracy Theorist", the two terms are both used to discredit dissenters of the official narratives. "Conspiracy theorist" is a term invented by the CIA in 1967 to discredit people who disagreed with the official JFK account. Now, the "fake news" ploy is merely a tactic to discredit media sources, especially internet sources, that are not towing the official narrative's line, set up by the elites through the corporate owned media.
