Re: “'True Grit', 'Winter's Bone' big winners at Oscar noms

i'm currently several months into a performance piece where i 'never see the movie "inception" / maintain high levels of indifference / disinterest while doing so'

'black swan' was really good. it was the first aronofsky film i've ever seen. good job

'the social network' was good i think, except i thought the weird trial / pre-trial frame around the story seemed strange, seemed like every time it switched i was watching a movie trailer for a ' finally, a smart comedy about law --roger ebert, 2011' movie. justin timberlake did well. and i think the poor man's michael cera proved again [first time re zombieland] that michael cera is actually the poor man's poor man's michael cera

'true grit' was fine i think. it wasn't bad, but it wasn't exceptional. jeff bridges was amazing though, i think. he 'carried it' for me i think

i watched 'tron' too. jeff bridges was miserable in that. it was bad. sweet motorcycle, bro, i guess. and i felt excited when i saw daft punk chillin in that bar. and we snuck in after 'true grit' so it was free. so good job to us, daft punk, and that bro who seems whack but had a good motorcycle

oh, i watched the 'harry potter' movie. it was the first one i've seen. i had no idea what was happening, but i thought it was exciting and aesthetically pleasing

'exit through the gift shop' was good. it was maddening towards the end, but i feel like that's what they wanted; so, good job

i watched 'ace ventura: pet detective' with my roommates. it streams on netflix. it was really shocking and vulgar and insane, probably my most enjoyed movie experience of 2010 i think
