Re: “Coyotes on the prowl

It's 2:30AM! Not able to sleep...I'm outside letting my big black American Pit Bully Boy use the potty and my other boy and girl are on the back porch and they start barking like crazy at something and they only bark when they really do see something and whenever I do go outside I always take a flashlight cuz when you live in the Coyote Country you never know what you might see in the mid-night outside especially when backed right up to the woods! It's crazy cuz I know when my dogs start barking there really is something there! So I get of my chair, grab my flashing and shine right where my dogs were barking, only about 35 to 40ft in front of me and there Mr. Wiley Coyote stood looking right at me! At first he was so big I just thought it was maybe a baby deer but when my eyes focused there he was. Thankful for me my big bully was right by my side as usual soi wasn't worried much, but he just trotted off away from us like he wanted nothing to do with us. All I can say is they are cat killers, but your good oL neighbors domestic dog will get your cat quicker than the wild one will so watch out. But coyotes are so mysterious in ways for one you never hear of anyone having coyotes for pets you just don't maybe having wolves, but not coyotes. I love them and want to learn more about them!
