Re: “Mike Gauldin dies at 55

Gauldin, plain and simple, was just that -- a great guy who never needed a first name to be remembered. There was only one Gauldin. His loyalty to "his" Governor and those in the Governor's Office was phenominal. He loved his family and was always happy to share a meaningful task one of his children had accomplished -- be it ever so minor.

His wit and desire to see the sun through the clouds was amazing. His talent was so broad that one lifetime was too short for him to discover all of his abilities.

Hopefully his family and friends are comforted by the fact that he never wanted much attention paid to him, as he always was in service for those around him. His contributions to this world will live on forever through his art and writings -- talents that were simple for such an extraordinary man.
