Re: “Exile in Guyville at Twin Peaks

Well...had you done any preparatory research, the theme and target audience shouldn't have surprised you. While I would agree that the restaurant panders to a certain demographic, not sure I've ever heard anyone complain about sub-zero beer...if you ordered any mass produced American light beer, once again, what did you expect?? Finally, you basically tried 2 dishes...and cmon, but sliders and the club?? I would expect you to try something they stake their name to, but we don't know what that is because you were biased before you entered the restaurant (the water tanks). You should have started the review with, I hated the idea of this restaurant before I even placed one foot in it. The part that really stinks about your review is that you bashed the waitress on her attire and personal accouterments (which seem to be perfectly in line with the restaurant theme), but said nothing of her service/attentiveness. This was a hack job review. I would never eat at a place like this, but as a 'reporter' you owe your readers a bit less bias and the workers at this place deserved a fair shot. Did you ask to speak to the manager and give feedback on the sliders, did you even let them know you were reviewing them? I suspect not.
