And, don't forget about the explosions, and other poisonous gases that are released, and not required to file with anyone. ..oh, the explosions are answered by the ADEM, but isn't that tax payer dollars? hmmm.

Re: “Shale shock

Since your Environment is being affected try contacting the Arkansas Department of Environmental they refer you to the Gas and Oil Commission, or the Arkansas Ecology and Pollution Commission? You are but measly citizens to these agencies, and they answer to the Governor. Try Region 6 EPA and file a complaint that you are not able to get Environmental Justice, because your State is on the side of Big Industry. You may get some help.…

Humorous! Don't blame the drillers, they are only contractors for the Natural Gas Companies. Last year if you get copies of the Public Notice section of the Newspaper (owned by Stephens Inc, who is a lot of the money behind the Fayetteville Shale Project, who has been pushed by Governor Beebe), you will see thousands of Public Notices where the Natural Gas companies sued for mineral rights, over and over and over. but no one would listen. Heck they are probably still doing it. I cancelled the subscription to my Newspaper, because I don't like being told how to think. It is Goliath vs David, and the fracking won't stop until every one of our creeks and tributaries is DEAD. When you trench 8" pipe 2 miles under each creek and tributary under a 404 permit. That is no public notice and a couple of hundred bucks to your favorite Environment Protection in Arkansas. No turkey season last year should be a warning to the sporstmen, but mercy we are bringing Progress and Jobs to Arkansas.
