Re: “Mike Huckabee: Pro-immigrant, pro-Griffin

Snoozer! Next thing you know, Ed Bethune will endorse Griffin.....oh wait. Ol' "public service ain't worth it" Griffin will keep rolling out the yesterdays news endorsements. Maybe Karl Rove will get Dubya to hug him.

Re: “New ad firm from CJRW departures

Why does a start up ad agency need a Chairman of the Board? Exactly what Little Rock needs.....another ad agency.

Re: “War Memorial sign deal disclosed

Nice deal for WMS! Remember not only is AT&T making payment for the naming rights to the field, they've pledged to improve the cell phone service at the stadium! And, for good measure funding scholarships in honor of fallen war heroes. Kudos to Drilling and his employer. Wonder if he can get Gary Smith more funding for a honking big U-Verse scoreboard?

Re: “SWEPCO to go it alone on coal plant

Natural gas is very cost competitive to coal and a much cleaner burning fuel. The plant over in El Dorado is a high efficiency, natural gas fired one. As I understand it, the plant is not getting close to operating at capacity. Seems like the answer to meeting additional need is already in SWA backyard.

Re: “War Memorial strikes secret deal with AT&T UPDATE

Let's hope the money AT&T gives WMS will be spent to improve the bathrooms! And, maybe to provide a bigger payout for visiting teams so that we can attract an opponent that isn't a cupcake.

Re: “The bad gaslands

We have an abundance of price competitive, domestically produced natural gas in the U.S. A fuel type that will dramatically lower emissions pollution and can power vehicles at a competitive price. My only question is why is the government not pushing the use of natural gas? With the economy in recession, you would think government leaders would strongly encourage the use of more domestically produced natural gas.......creates jobs, cuts air pollution and lessens dependence of foreign oil. No brainer.

Re: “Columnist: UA a 'drag' on SEC

Who really cares what Alabama Feinbaum thinks? He would just as soon the conference be limited to AL, Auburn, GA and FL.
