Re: “Tuesday night and the subscription line is open

Max I just registered, paid my money. Received confirmation, tried to log in, said my password didn't match records. I changed my password, received notification via e-mail, and still cannot get into the site. I used a different e-mail address and password to register for my wife and myself but site won't let me in. Help?? customer assistance, anything of a positive nature would be appreciated.

Re: “The corporate giveaway line is open

The City of Little Rock is in bad shape if it can't follows it's own rules plus state law! What an example for the rest of us. I wonder, is this a way for the city of Little Rock to subtly promote anarchy as the new, preferred form of government.

Re: “'Tar Sands Timmy' — You say you want a pipeline?

Looks like America is well on its way to being a 3rd world country. We will probably end up being the dumping ground for all kinds of stuff other countries don't want. But wait! Tim says, it'll create more jobs, be good for our citizens, and it creates more opportunities for kickbacks and campaign funding. As Tim would say, if he were being totally honest, " it's all about the money - who has it and who doesn't, and I want my share."

Re: “New Little Rock superintendent rebukes teacher union president

Like or not the administration is the one to go to with concerns not the board. If you want to speak to the board get on the agenda for the next school board meeting. Especially if the concerns have not been resolved in a timely manner. Going to board members shows a lack of professionalism and ignoring school rules/ regs and policy under which all employees must follow.

Re: “The Exxon PR Debacle Edition

Does anyone really believe that Tim Griffin has the power to make Exxon do something it does not want to do. I see mutual admiration society evolving here. "I (griffin) wil play positive good cop praising exxons cleanup prowess). Then when it is leaked that Exxon. Might stop payments to homeowners in comes Tim (man of La Mancha) to the rescue. Fairly decent plotting there Tim and big Exxon, but it looks just a little bit overplayed. Might want to do some remediation on those oral communication and dramatic skills.

Re: “BREAKING!!!! University of Arkansas books balance

Gosh, after this bit of 1+ 1 = 2 news, be still my heart, when does the other shoe drop. Will the next announcement be that everyone in the department was required to attend uber intensive workshops on how to apply arithmetic to the budgeting process? The workshop presenter (Simon Legree) will be offered a permanent position and a handsome salary thereby busting the budget again. The circular firing squad has, as of yet to leave the building.
