Re: “The strange demise of Melissa Byers

I caught the comment about the "murder" instead of "death" of his wife also. But I also caught Melissa say something that I feel indicates it was her that had something to do with at least, the death of her own child. She was talking about something he'd written at school and the only thing written on it was "I love my mommy." She talked about her son saying he was o.k. and he wanted her to be o.k. and "I STILL love you, and I love daddy and.....". Why would he say "I STILL love you", but say "AND I love daddy,..."? Unless she did something that caused his death, which could have been accidental, and he still loves her in spite of that fact. Perhaps her husband helped cover it up by killing the other children, maybe witnesses. That's why those two were still alive when they went into the water. The Beyers were the ones who acted out the most against the "supposed killers", over-acting to cover themselves and inserting themselves where they would be able to maybe obtain more info before the public did. Also, they lived less than a mile from where the children were found (the closest dumping ground), and also moved from that home after. (I don't think I'd move. I'd want to retain the memories i had of my son and where he had lived, to keep him closer to me.) I think Melissa became really angry at Christopher for some reason (children with ADHD are difficult at times) and she lost her cool to the extreme. Her husband helped to cover the death up. After the trial, with more time on her hands, the guilt ate away at her for ruining six kids lives and she got further and further into drugs. After she and her husband split up, he became concerned she would tell someone or confess and he killed her. Now that she's out of the way and the threat of her telling is gone, he can cover himself by saying he's had a change of heart about the " supposed killers" so he'll be perceived as a good guy and the heat taken off him.
