I don't think these people have issues with the student loan, I think they have issues with personal financial management. I have loans around the same amount as the woman in the article and they do not provide a stress on my life whatsoever and I have a family of four with one income slighly above that of the woman in the article. Does she realize that she makes well above the average income for our state? I feel like both people in this article made bad financial decisions and they must live with those decisions. The young man obviously recognized that when he said he decided to party his money away. Did not like this article and felt the author should have interviewed a success story to counteract the negativity. I'm sure there are plenty of people you can talk to for that. I am thankful I was able to go to college and thankful for the student loans that got me through.
