Re: “‘Not a soul in there’

By the time I got to the third HBO documentary, as I watched Burnett reject the DNA evidence, it hit me like a lightning bolt that judges in Arkansas absolutely must be elected, not appointed. And sure enough, that is the case. Where I live, in Massachusetts, judges are appointed. While that can have its own set of problems, a nitwit like Burnett making it to the bench is not one of them. Couldn't believe his opinion on the credentials of the Satanic "expert." Couldn't believe he would ask leading questions about the significance of the number of 3 victims. (Why yes, it's half of 6 and three sixes signify the devil. By that reasoning, if the number of victims were 4, you could say half of four is two, add two to four and you have six, and three sixes signify the devil. Pick a number and play along!) Couldn't believe his reaction to the DNA. And, finally, couldn't believe that he would chew gum while presiding in court!!
